The Buffalo Bills have picked up Jordan Phillips, a defensive tackle who was recently released by the Dolphins who recently released the star following a sideline outburst.

This news comes directly from the Bills organization, who later announced they released Robert Thomas to make room for the new acquisition, and while it will be interesting to see what he can do in a new organization, his departure from the Dolphins was pretty ugly.

The anger that everyone saw really came from the desire to win. It came out because the Dolphins ended up getting destroyed by their opponents on Sunday, the Patriots. The specific score was 38-7 points.

Now, Phillips was quick to mention that the release was not due to his outburst like many people have thought. This suggests that his outburst and being released has more to do with just the game. However, we can't confirm that this is true as of yet.

Although it might be true since he did gain a reputation for being an underachiever from time to time. According to the Toronto Sun, he came off the bench this season because the team needed to do a bit of a rotation for the defensive line. Given, he did try to pull his part with one sack and five tackles.

There is also the possibility that he was released for his performance or for personal reasons between him and the team. If he was having some serious issues getting along with other team members, he might have found a way to work around the legal issue of potential contracts that might still be in writing. In terms of his performance, it's a possibility since there are indeed some players that could be doing better in his arena, although, it's safe to say that he was a decent player.

Now since we can't directly confirm why he got released, we do still have to look at some of the reasons. One of those is clearly the fact that he was way out of line, especially since the public could have seen it. This means that it gives off a really bad impression about who the team works with, for example, if a workplace was to hire someone who often has outbursts, it would look bad for the company.

One thing that really does keep us in the dark about all of this is that Jordan Phillips wrote that he was "free at last" in an Instagram post. This doesn't confirm anything, but his happiness about being released, although, it's worth mentioning that he later deleted the post.
