At the most recent NXT event, Kairi Sane got a send-off from the fans at Full Sail University with the expectation she'll be debuting in WWE soon.

With rumors swirling that former GM of SmackDown Live, Paige might be bringing in a new tag team to the blue brand just in time for next week's Superstar Shake-up, the early speculation is that the team of Kairi Sane and Iro Shirai, will be her new pet project. If what took place at Wednesday's NXT tapings is any indication of whether those rumors are true, expect to see Kane on SmackDown Next week.

Kairi Sane had a match during the NXT television tapings and after her bout with Shayna Bazsler, the high-flyer stuck around after the match, standing alone in the ring. The feeling around the arena was that she was saying goodbye for a final time to the Full Sail University crowd and as a result, she received a thundering round of applause.  It was the standard practice you see for stars leaving NXT and making their way to WWE.

It was assumed some time ago that Sane was almost ready to make her WWE debut. What's interesting is that there was less talk about Shirai. But, after Paige said on SmackDown Live this week that she will be showing up with a new talented tag team, most assume Sane and Shirai will be working together.

What This Means

A team known as the Sky Pirates, they are two of the most unique and talented women in the NXT and they should make an immediate impact in WWE. If, for some reason, they are put in a match with the Iiconics, that could spell an early end to their tag title reign.

It may not be the Sky Pirates who debut next week and we could be reading the tea leaves incorrectly, but as time goes by and things like this keep happening, it seems pretty clear Sane will be on the main roster shortly.
