This week's WWE 205 Live show turned ugly, with an ignorant fan injuring Kalisto by throwing a water bottle at his face.

After being attacked by Jack Gallagher and Brian Kendrick, Kalisto was down at ringside, and the defenseless wrestler was whipped in the face by a water bottle. You can see the short clip below:

Thankfully, Kalisto was fine and appeared to avoid any serious injury. A WWE employee later tweeted that the culprit was caught, and Pro Wrestling Magazine tweeted that police were notified of the incident.

Sadly, this isn't the first time that fans have acted like circus clowns during a show. Earlier this summer, Alexa Bliss was slapped on the buttocks by a young fan while being carried away by Nia Jax.

During a 2013 show in South Africa, Randy Orton was attacked from behind by a fan who entered the ring. Orton was injured, and the perpetrator was later caught and charged with criminal offenses.

And during a 2016 Monday Night Raw show, a fan entered the ring and tried attacking Seth Rollins, who pushed him away until security and officials were able to restrain the guy.

We don't know why some fans think this is a good idea. You're spending time in jail, facing criminal charges and probably getting a criminal record, which seriously jeopardizes your chances of getting a job and/or being able to leave your country to travel. Oh, and you could receive a life ban from specific sporting arenas and/or events.

Unfortunately, these incidents with fans trying to hurt WWE superstars just hasn't stopped. There will always be ignorant people out there, but it'd be nice if they opted to use a little more common sense.

Thankfully, in this case, Kalisto was just fine, and the culprit will learn a hard lesson: Don't act like a jerk ever again.
