Fast-rising NXT star Karrion Kross revealed some very interesting plans (or at least ideas) when it comes to his NXT character and what WWE might have on the go before the year is out.

Kross recently spoke with Stephanie Chase of Digital Spy and talked about joining WWE and NXT, how his short tenure has gone to date and what his new character is all about. Essentially, he noted that what fans will see is an "expansion" on what fans have seen from him previously in other promotions. He noted how excited he was about what's gone on so far because,"I think that people are getting what they've always enjoyed out of me in a bigger and better way."

But, he says there's a whole lot more to come. In fact, one of the things he's potentially working on or pitching to WWE is a cinematic-style match.

WWE has really taken to the mini-movie matches since the pandemic hit and the shows have been done with no fans. Pre-produced matches give the company a fresh look with new ideas and the aspect of being able to edit the matches can add a lot to the equation. For example, this weekend, there is speculation WWE will add CGI to the Rey Mysterio and Seth Rollins eye for an eye match.

For Kross and his character, a cinematic-style bout is a perfect fit. Kross revealed that he hopes to have one in NXT at some point and that he's already got a few ideas in mind that would fit his new gimmick.

Fans Might Get This Match In Next Couple Months

With WWE heavily leaning on these types of matches, Kross predicted that the WWE Universe may get to see one from him before 2020 is over. He must have already had those conversations with Triple H or whoever is helping build his character up to be so confident to make such a prediction.

For now, he seems to have Keith Lee in his sights. If he gets his way and sooner than later, will his cinematic dream come true also be a match that includes a title shot?
