The King of the Ring tournament semi-finals is still two weeks away from taking place, but we now have a firm idea as to who will round out the final four.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Matt Boone of eWrestlingNews), is reporting that Ali and Andrade will "likely" take part in the finals for the SmackDown Live brand. It was noted that Buddy Murphy has "his supporters," so you can't rule out the former Cruiserweight Champion.

On the Raw side of the bracket, it was suggested that the brand's final could pit Samoa Joe vs. Cedric Alexander, or perhaps Ricochet vs. Baron Corbin. Joe and Alexander booked their trips to the quarter-finals after defeating Cesaro and Sami Zayn, respectively.

Ricochet was scheduled to go up against Drew McIntyre on tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw, while The Miz was slated to clash with Corbin. The two quarter-finals matches on Raw will take place next week.

Elias defeated Kevin Owens on last week's episode of SmackDown Live to book his trip to the quarter-finals, and he'll go up against the winner of Ali and Buddy Murphy. Andrade defeated Apollo Crews last week and awaits the winner of Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin - who will square off on Tuesday.

The semi-final matches will take place on Sept. 9 and 10, and the King of the Ring will be crowned at the Clash of Champions pay-per-view on Sept. 15.

What This Means

A large portion of the remaining competitors in the King of the Ring tournament are deserving and in line for main event pushes, so it's anybody's guess who will wind up victorious. It's worth noting that Raw Executive Director Paul Heyman is reportedly keen on pushing Alexander, so this could be where the latter begins to breakout. But Ali and Andrade also seem poised for big pushes as well, so we'll be left in suspense until there's a victor.
