The Golden State Warriors have already delivered their loyal fans three NBA Championships over four years, but All-Star shooting guard Klay Thompson doesn't seem to think that's enough.

The Dubs are playing their final season at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, then they'll move to the Chase Center in San Francisco for the 2019-20 season. For Thompson and the Warriors, their goal is to give Oakland one more championship to celebrate before the move.

"We want to do it for the fans of Oakland. Been so loyal to us for 40-plus years, whatever it's been since they've been in Oracle," Thompson said, via Nick Friedell of ESPN.com

"So that definitely helps with this season. It's leaving a big legacy behind in Oakland because people might not get to see us as much in San Francisco. And just enjoying this every night."

The Warriors are once again heavily expected to win the NBA Championship in 2019. As if Thompson, Draymond Green, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant weren't scary enough to begin with, the team signed All-Star Center DeMarcus Cousins.

So yeah, the defending champions are in great position to give Oakland another championship, fielding five All-Star starters and all. Thompson shouldn't have to worry too much about bringing a fourth title in five years back to Oakland.

But Thompson and co. shouldn't feel the pressure to add yet another championship banner. Remember, the Warriors faithful had to wait 40 years between titles, winning it all in 1975 and not getting back there until 2015.

Three championships in one decade is impressive enough, and it's safe to say Warriors fans in Oakland won't be that crushed if this group can't win it all in 2018-19. This core is going to stay together for a long time, and they can easily add three more championships before the group disbands.

Nonetheless, Thompson and the Warriors know the best way to thank the long-time loyal supporters in Oakland is to add another title. And if recent history is an indication of anything, they won't have too many problems reach it.
