Kurt Angle has received well wishes from all of his children this Father's Day. Well, all of them but one.

WWE has given us moments that we will never forget over the past few decades. Hulk Hogan slamming Andre the Giant. Mankind being thrown from the top of the cell by The Undertaker. CM Punk escaping Chicago with the WWE Title. However, some of the moments WWE has gifted us while still memorable, aren't quite as prestigious as the ones mentioned above.

The reveal of Kurt Angle's deep, dark secret while he was Raw General Manager, for instance. Turns out, the former Olympian had an illegitimate son, and that son was Jason Jordan. Not really, of course, but within the realms of WWE. However, due to an injury that is still keeping Jordan off TV, we never got to see the angle play out.

That hasn't stopped Angle from playing it up, though. Since it's Father's Day and Angle has a fair few children, he posted on Instagram celebrating the occasion. He also took the opportunity to have a little fun. The former GM wrote "Still waiting on a call from my son Jason. All of my other kids wished me a happy Father’s Day." He added that the WWE Superstar will be grounded if he doesn't respond to his post by midnight.

As for what Jordan is actually up to career-wise right now, well that is anyone's guess. It has been almost 18 months since Jordan wrestled his last match. That was when he and Seth Rollins lost the Raw Tag Titles to The Bar. There have been rumors of comebacks since then, but also rumors that WWE has been preparing the former champ for a backstage role.

It would be a real shame if Jordan's in-ring career has come to an end. Not just because he showed a lot of promise, especially between the ropes, but also because he is only 30 years old. If he doesn't return to the ring, we'll never know how far he could have gone. On the bright side, whether he wrestle again or not, WWE seems to have a place for him backstage.
