Kurt Angle recently recalled having to pull down his pants in a WWE production meeting shortly before he left the company.

When it comes to listing the greatest wrestlers of all time, Kurt Angle doesn't get enough credit. An Olympic gold medalist who arguably took to the professional side of the business quicker than anyone else in history. It's also almost impossible to fathom how much pain he was fighting through just so he could wrestle on a regular basis.

Not only did Angle win the aforementioned gold medal with a broken freakin' neck, but he was in a very bad way when he left WWE for the first time in 2006. During a recent episode of The Angle Show, the Hall of Famer detailed his final days in the company. Vince McMahon was ignoring his calls, which led to Angle leaving his boss threatening messages in an attempt to get his attention.

When that didn't work, Angle crashed a production meeting and showed McMahon exactly how bad his injuries were. "I went to a meeting, and I pulled my pants down," Angle revealed. "I pulled my pants down to my ankles, and I showed Vince my groin, and it was all black and blue. I mean, my penis, everything was black, from the injury."

Angle was suffering from a torn abdominal muscle, torn groin, and injured hamstring all at the same time. Pulling his pants down in a production meeting certainly got the chairman's attention. McMahon told Angle to come see him in his office, to which the HOFer replied he wanted to talk to McMahon at WWE HQ instead. Angle was on the road to leaving the company at this point.

While that period in Angle's life was a dark one, it all turned out okay in the end. Angle enjoyed a very successful run in Impact after he left WWE, eventually returned to the company, and has since been inducted into the HoF. He has also recovered from the countless injuries he suffered over the course of his career, at least as much as he can recover, shaking off his painkiller addiction in the process.
