Just hours before Elimination Chamber is due to begin, WWE has finally removed Lacey Evans from the card.

Lacey Evans dropped a bombshell on Raw this past week. The Sassy Southern Belle warned Charlotte Flair to back off since she's pregnant. It turns out this isn't just a bizarre twist in Evans' ongoing angle with Ric Flair, but she is actually expecting her second child. That obviously throws a spanner into the Raw Women's Title match scheduled to take place at Elimination Chamber.

By the time you read this, Elimination Chamber will be less than three hours away. However, WWE waited until now to remove Evans versus Asuka from the card. What's more, a replacement is yet to be announced. As of right now, the title will no longer be on the line. There is a chance an alternate for Evans is announced right before the show, or maybe even during the event.

If WWE does replace Evans in the match, the most obvious choice would be to have Peyton Royce wrestle The Empress instead. Even though Royce has taken a back seat somewhat during the Flair angle, she's still Evans' tag team partner. It would also be quite the twist to see Charlotte take the spot, perhaps even winning the match and getting one reign closer to her dad's record.

What's odd is that even though WWE has removed the match from the card, it is yet to announce anything officially. Again, that might well be because they have an alternative opponent in mind that they will announce live during Elimination Chamber. There are also reports that the removal of Evans versus Asuka won't be the only last-minute change made to the show.

Keith Lee's absence on Raw this week sparked rumors that he will be removed from tonight's US Title match. While that is still yet to be confirmed, it is currently expected to be the case. Lee remains on the official Elimination Chamber card at WWE.com. If he is going to miss tonight's show, then chances are the US Title match will be switched to a singles bout between Riddle and Bobby Lashley.
