When the Cleveland Cavaliers lost game three of the NBA Finals 110-102 to the Golden State Warriors, LeBron James scored 33 points in the game which was the 110th time he had scored 30 or more points in a playoff game—passing Michael Jordan's record of 109 games.

If you were wondering about total games played, LeBron got his 110th 30-point game in his 238th career playoff game, while Jordan has his 109 30-point games in 179 career playoff games played.

And this wasn't the first Jordan record that James broke either. Last year, LeBron balled his way into first place on the all-time postseason points list—passing MJ. Currently, James has 6,888 playoff points for his career and Jordan sits in second place with 5,987. Jordan still holds the higher postseason points-per-game average with 33.4 as compared to James' 28.9.

The numbers that James cares about the most from last night is the final score and the disappointment of being down 3-0 in the series (no NBA team has ever come back from a 3-0 deficit to win a best-of-seven series). However, there are some other rather incredible numbers that the "King" put forward.

With his 33 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds last night, James recorded his 10th NBA Finals triple-double putting him now two ahead of Magic Johnson who is in second place with eight. But even more impressive is the fact that it was James' fifth 30-point triple-double in the NBA Finals. Compare that to the fact that all of the other players in the history of the NBA Finals have combined for four 30-point triple-doubles! But wait, there's more.

LeBron James has scored at least 25 points and has at least eight assists and eight rebounds in his last 10 consecutive NBA Finals games. Not bad right? Well, how about the fact that no other player has ever done that in just two back-2-back games!

And James is doing all this at the age of 33, in his 15th year in the league. A year in which he has played every single game of the regular and postseason—103 straight games. Which just happens to be the most he has ever played in a season. With his previous high being 100 in the 2010-2011 season back when he was just 26-years-old.
