A day after he defeated Roman Reigns in the main event at WrestleMania 34, Universal Champion Brock Lesnar signed a new contract with the WWE, though details on the deal weren't disclosed.

There have been multiple conflicting reports about Lesnar's new contract with the WWE, as pointed out by Cagesideseats.com. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter and Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com have reported that Lesnar's deal is short-term, with the former adding that it allows him to compete in at least one UFC fight. Johnson said it "may just be working on an extension of his previous one."

But according to MMA writer and Sporting News reporter Steven Muehlhausen, Lesnar's contract is a multi-year deal and can still fight in UFC:

WWE writer Jeremy Botter reported on Monday that it's believed Lesnar is only signed for one more match, while adding how the planned ending WrestleMania 34 went down, with Vince McMahon changing up the finish:

So at this point, it's anybody's guess what Lesnar's new contract is, and we can only guess how much longer he'll compete for both the WWE and UFC. He may be 41 years of age, but Lesnar remains as athletically gifted as ever before. It's just a question of how much more MMA and WWE he wants to do.

WWE did announce that Lesnar and Reigns will clash at the Greatest Royal Rumble pay-per-view in a Steel Cage match for the Universal Championship at the end of the match. Interestingly, Kris Zellner of Between the Sheets reported a rumor that Lesnar may face Bobby Lashley at the SummerSlam pay-per-view.

Lashley - who also has a strong background in MMA - returned to the WWE after a 10-year absence on Monday Night Raw, and he'd certainly be a realistic option to defeat Lesnar for the Championship.

If there's truth to Zellner's rumor, then Lesnar will stay on with the WWE through at least summer. Other than that, we have no clue just how much longer he's signed on for.
