Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell seemed to take pleasure in his team's latest loss - a 24-21 road defeat to the last-place Oakland Raiders - which dropped them to 7-5-1 on the season.

The Steelers' official Instagram page posted a graphic of the final score, and Bell trolled his own team by "liking" the photo. You can this below.

Bell has been enjoying himself on Twitter and Instagram throughout the season, which includes shout outs to running back James Conner and liking all these social media posts. But this one will not sit well with Steeler fans, given the inexcusable loss and the fact it jeopardizes their playoff hopes.

Pittsburgh is just half a game up on the Baltimore Ravens for the AFC North. They were in contention for a first-round bye just four weeks ago, sitting pretty at 7-2-1. But sloppy football and constant mistakes by the offense have let the Steelers down, and they have to play the New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints over their next two games.

Suddenly, making the playoffs isn't a gimme.

Bell rejected a five-year, $70 million contract extension from the Steelers in the offseason. Despite promising to sign his franchise tender, Bell never did such a thing. He opted to sit out the entire 2018 season, all but paving the way for his exit from the Steel City after this season.

What This Means

The Steelers have gotten fine production out of Conner this season, so it's safe to say they aren't exactly missing Bell right now. Still, his decision to rub salt in the wound on social media can't sit well with the organization.

Pittsburgh made Bell into one of the game's elite running backs, and even though they offered him a deal above market value, he simply wouldn't take it. Bell seems to enjoy it any time the Steelers lose, which will only complicate his legacy in Pittsburgh even more.
