Lio Rush has addressed the rumors that he has heat backstage in WWE, labeling all of the talk "ridiculous."

If all of the rumors are speculation are true, then WWE's locker room is probably a pretty tense place to be right now. More and more Superstars are making it known on social media that they're not best pleased with their lot in the company. Some are being granted their release, others have been coaxed to stay, while some appear to be receiving punishment for being outspoken.

The last thing any Superstar will want to do right now is get heat with higher-ups if they are intending to stay. There have been multiple rumors recently that Lio Rush has done exactly that. Rush hasn't been on WWE television for the last couple of weeks, and that is reportedly due to him not being in the company's good books.

Rush has clearly seen enough and reacted to the reports. The cruiserweight/hype man took to Twitter over the weekend and labeled the rumors "ridiculous." "Fight for the things you believe in and never apologize for being you," Rush wrote in a second tweet. That line is important since the recent rumors revolve around him allegedly telling people where he wants to be in WWE.

Annoyingly for Rush, whenever he is off TV for a couple of shows in a row, these rumors are going to start to surface. That's due to the precedent he set for himself while in NXT. When Emma was released from her contract, Rush tweeted a joke about the Aussie not being ready for Asuka. The backlash he received from that ill thought out tweet almost ended his WWE career before it had even started.

We sincerely hope that Rush's account of what is going on right now is true. He is an incredibly talented young wrestler, and one we personally believe isn't currently being used to his full potential. As great a manager as he is proving to be, he's a better wrestler. Hopefully, the reason he is absent from TV right now is due to the fact that he is about to return to performing in-ring.
