Lita made a surprise appearance at an MCW show this past weekend, donning a referee shirt and even hitting a wrestler with a Twist Of Fate.

It is officially October which means the month that will play host to WWE's first-ever all-female PPV has finally arrived. WWE Evolution will take place on the 28th of this month and if Stephanie McMahon keeps her promise, more than 50 women will compete on the show. So far, we already know that Trish Stratus will take on Alexa Bliss and Lita will square off against Mickie James.

The only time we have seen Lita and Stratus in the ring recently was during their cameo appearances in the first ever women's Royal Rumble match earlier this year. That means it's hard to tell how quickly they will be able to get back into the swing of things. What we do know is Lita has been making sure she's in ring shape before the big night arrives.

Lita posted a video of herself on Instagram on Sunday performing her patented moonsault. The WWE Hall Of Famer revealed that she was training with friends at MCW Pro Wrestling and also wrote "after some training to shake off the ring rust, I’m feeling ready to have some fun at @wwe #Evolution next month." She also returned the favor before she left.

The former Women's Champion did that by making a surprise appearance for the independent promotion. During a six-man tag match where a number of referees ended up getting knocked out, Lita's music hit and she came to the ring wearing an official's shirt. After clashing with Dante Caballero, Lita gave him a Twist Of Fate which led to him and his team losing the match.

Even just watching the clips above of the moonsault and the Twist Of Fate have gotten us even more excited for Evolution than we were already. There is a lot of history between Lita and James since the latter actually faced the former in her retirement match. Most of us didn't think we would ever see a rematch, especially a whole 12 years after the initial matchup.
