Matt Hardy took to Twitter to reveal a pretty painful injury he has developed and what move is likely to blame for it.

Nothing will offend a professional wrestler more than telling them what they do for a living is fake. It may be pre-determined, but it is most certainly not fake. The men and women of the business put their bodies on the lines for hundreds of days out of the year, sometimes for decade after decade.

Two men who know a lot about being on the road and in the ring for that long are Matt and Jeff Hardy. The brothers have been wrestling since the early 1990s and have just about done it all since then. They made names for themselves together as The Hardy Boyz, becoming one of the best tag teams of all time, and have both been World Champions in their own right as singles stars.

Sadly, all good things must come to an end, and it looks like that day may be nearing for Matt. The Woken One's recent tweets have had fans speculating that his career may be nearing its end. Some hoped that it was a part of an on-screen angle but Hardy's latest tweet would suggest otherwise. The veteran has apparently developed a condition where his lower back has begun to fuse with his pelvis.

Sounds painful, and as you can see from the tweet above, Hardy thinks he knows what may have caused it. A move he used to performed called the Event Omega. The former Raw Tag Team Champion would leap from the top rope and perform a leg drop. Painful at the best of times, and it would seem that Hardy is currently paying the price for making it a part of his move set.

As touched upon above, Jeff is also not in the best shape. The SmackDown Live Superstar is reportedly not performing the Swanton Bomb at live events anymore and is suffering from numbness in his hands. It seems very likely that we could soon live in a world where The Hardy Boyz are no longer wrestlers, but if their health is at stake then it's the right call. Both Matt and Jeff have given the fans more than enough during their Hall Of Fame careers.
