There are a number of different Superstars vying to be the face of WWE right now. Matt Hardy believe Seth Rollins is the perfect man for the job.

With the names currently on the sidelines, the slot of WWE's top male performer is currently wide open. It was a position clearly held by Roman Reigns for a period of time, whether some fans want to admit that or not. Braun Strowman looked like the man who would keep that place warm for Reigns while he's away, but The Monster is currently out of action with an elbow injury.

While Strowman reportedly won't be out for long, even when fully fit the debate about who should be WWE's top guy is still one being had by many fans. Brock Lesnar is too part-time to be a candidate, as is John Cena. The front-runners, on Raw at least, are Superstars such as Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins.

RUMOR: WWE ORIGINALLY HAD PLANS TO HAVE THE ROCK WIN THE 2019 ROYAL RUMBLE

Turns out that this is a subject not only on the minds' of the fans but also some of the Superstars. During some recent rapid-fire questions being asked of him by SPN Action, Matt Hardy weighed in on who he thinks deserves that spot. "I think Seth Rollins is the guy who should be the nucleus of WWE right now," Hardy answered when asked about promising talent in the company right now.

Hardy is most certainly not alone in that belief. We imagine many of the fans who tune in to Raw each week are hoping Rollins gets a big push in 2019. When he turned on The Shield and became WWE Champion, it seemed as if WWE was fully invested in The Architect. However, as is becoming all too familiar, that momentum was derailed via an injury.

WWE will ultimately reveal who it wants to be the next big thing when it announces who will face Lesnar at WrestleMania 35. It's highly likely The Beast will still be Universal Champion when that event rolls around in April 2019. There are various rumors about who he might face doing the rounds. Rollins, McIntyre, even The Rock. Our vote is for Rollins, that way he can hold the title his good friend was forced to relinquish and defend it against Reigns when he returns.
