Matt Hardy has now held five different Tag Team Championship belts in WWE. Not even his brother has managed that.

The Hardy Boyz are one of the most iconic tag teams in wrestling history. Surefire Hall Of Famers and perhaps the most talented tandem to ever grace a WWE ring. The brothers have been Tag Team Champions 12 times in total across three major brands. Their most recent run is currently ongoing and began when they defeated The Usos two days after WrestleMania 35.

Although they have enjoyed success elsewhere, both as a team and as singles competitors, they remain synonymous with WWE. Hence the deafening reaction they received from the fans when they returned at WrestleMania 33. They won tag team gold on that night too. In a ladder match, a stipulation they helped make famous during the early part of their careers.

Even though Matt and Jeff have spent most of their careers together, the older brother holds a record that his younger sibling does not. Matt revealed on Twitter that he has held five different version of the WWE Tag Team Championships. A very early version of the SmackDown Tag Titles, the World Tag Titles, the older Raw Tag Titles, and both sets of titles that are active today.

After posting the photos to Twitter, many fans were quick to point out that if Matt has held all of those titles, surely Jeff has too. However, that is not the case. Jeff has never held the older version of the SmackDown Championships. Matt won those titles with MVP during a time when Vince McMahon thought it would be fun to break up pretty much every established team on the roster.

There is a chance that someone equals or even surpasses this record in the future. WWE tends to change its title designs quite often so other Superstars will hold different versions of the same title. However, as Matt points out in his tweet, it's highly unlikely that anyone else will ever hold those five. Unless WWE decides to revive some of its older championship designs, Matt will forever be the only one.
