Sometimes a match seems to go just fine in the mind of the audience, but as some people say, it is the little things that you have to look for in a match. Fans who have a keen eye for wrestling spots are usually adept in catching minor mishaps during a match. These minor mishaps usually end up going unnoticed, or sometimes they can be so big that they turn into a botch.

The wrestlers in the ring are sometimes not at fault for things that go wrong during a wrestling match. A Twitter video recently revealed a clip from WWE's Dinner for Three in which former in-ring rivals Matt Hardy and Edge speak about the return pay-per-view that Hardy was in which occurred at Wrestlemania 33. For those of you who remember the Fatal Fourway tag team title match from Wrestlemania 33, you might have not noticed what went on when Hardy grabbed the suspended straps while being on the latter. Hardy reveals that there was something wrong with the ladder as he went to get the straps.

Hardy tells Edge about the ladder incident from Wrestlemania 33. Matt said that the ladder was supposed to be a 10 foot ladder. Matt reveals the height of the ladder is determined by the length of the belts that are suspended in the air. Matt says that during the finish of the match, someone switched the ladder with a shorter one.

He reveals that he found something was wrong with the ladder when he went to grab the belts. The crowd pops as he grabs the belts. Matt reveals that he had to put his foot on another rung of the ladder just to grab the belts. He says it would have been "terrible" for him to have fallen during the pop as he grabbed the suspended belts because of the ladder switch.

Matt's big return to the WWE was almost ruined because of a ladder that was placed in the Fatal Fourway match that should not have been there. As most people would have expected, he would go from being his Matt Hardy persona to becoming his alter-ego version of himself months later. He was definitely "woken" about the fact that he was working with a botched ladder which could have made for some serious consequences for someone if he would have gotten injured during his return WWE match.
