AEW's Matt Hardy has hit out at WWE chairman Vince McMahon over the promotion's new Hardy Bros. endeavor featuring his brother Jeff Hardy and Riddle.

WWE's said to be seeking trademark rights for the name and will likely present the new tag team to the WWE Universe in short order.

Matt, who left WWE and joined AEW after the expiration of his contract last year, has been separated from his brother since then. Given the Hardy Bros. development, the superstar has released a video on YouTube claiming the Hardy Boyz are the greatest tag team in wrestling history, vowing he and his brother will hold tag titles again in the future.

Matt also claimed to be the most creative trailblazer, as well as the brains behind the moves that saw the tag team alongside Jeff become the very best.

The AEW performer slammed McMahon for trying to "confuse the marketplace" through the formation of the Hardy Bros. with another wrestler named Matt. He added the tag team will not be successful with claims the Fake Razor Ramon and Fake Diesel will be considered to be better by the end of the story.

It's Not Just Bragging

The Hardy Boyz are the only tag team to win World Tag Team Championships with WWE, WCW, ROH and Impact Wrestling. They're also the only duo to hold the WWE World Tag Team Titles, Raw, SmackDown, ROH, WCW World Tag Team Titles, and TNA/Impact Tag Team Titles.

Matt also claimed it's documented that the Hardy Boyz have sold more merchandise than any other tag team in history.

Of course, there are many more names that might come up when the conversation involving the GOAT of tag wrestling is broached. New Day, the Road Warriors, The Rock and Roll Express, The Young Bucks, and the Lucha Bros. are all among them.
