While all eyes are on what Brock Lesnar will do with his Money in the Bank briefcase cash-in opportunity, Matt Riddle seems to be calling his shot.

Matt Riddle has long said his dream match or ideal opponent is Brock Lesnar. In fact, Riddle has gone record saying he would like to retire the Beast Incarnate. So, while Brock doesn't seem to be playing up that Beast persona much on WWE programming these days, it shouldn't surprise WW fans that Riddle might want a piece of the Lesnar action.

Brock recently won the Money in the Bank briefcase and with it, he gets an opportunity to select which champion he wants to cash that briefcase contract in on. It was recently announced Lesnar would be at Raw this week to make his decision.

Perhaps more intriguing than who Lesnar might choose is what might happen to surround the segment. NXT Superstar Matt Riddle took to social media to suggest he might spoil the announcement. Saying, "I'll be there to ruin it bro, see you Monday at Raw", the hint is being dropped that Riddle might make his main roster debut.

Considering Lesnar has his hands full with either Seth Rollins or Kofi Kingston, having Riddle debut on the main roster to challenge Lesnar doesn't make a lot of sense. That said, WWE is clearly looking for ways to steer the ratings in a positive direction. A surprise appearance by Riddle might help boost the numbers.

What This Means

Should WWE fans actually expect Riddle to show up on Monday? Probably not. He's often called out Lesnar in the past and nothing has come of it. With that in mind, don't rule it out.

Anything seems to go these days with WWE and not a whole lot makes sense. If they feel bringing up Riddle for a program with Lesnar will help boost ratings, they'll probably do it.
