It wasn't the best-kept secret but Matt Riddle has let the cat out of the bag when it comes to a big return at SummerSlam. Not only did he spoil the official surprise, he wants in on the match.

As of this report, WWE is still going with the idea that Dolph Ziggler will be facing The Miz at SummerSlam. Speculation is that this match will be changed and Goldberg will be returning to face the Showoff in what is likely to be a squash match.

Ziggler has dropped Goldberg's name repeatedly on WWE programming of late, calling him an embarrassment to wrestling and seemingly setting up an opportunity for Goldberg to return to WWE and right a wrong that happened at Super ShowDown where he looked terrible in a match versus The Undertaker. Again, these were only rumors. That is, until Matt Riddle seemingly let everyone in on the secret.

Taking to social media, Riddle is petitioning for Dolph's unannounced match with Goldberg to become a Triple Threat match so he can be part of the action.

Riddle has a history with Goldberg calling him the worst wrestler in the world. Only Riddle's opinion isn't part of a storyline. Goldberg hasn't appreciated Riddle's take on his career and at some point, fans are hoping these two meet up. Riddle seems to be hoping for the same.

What This Means

It is expected WWE will announce a change to the match and that the rumor of Goldberg's return will be official soon. If not, Riddle has done an excellent photoshop job and trolled the fans.

If this is true and Riddle has just sent out an official SummerSlam photo prior to the match being announced, this can't make WWE very happy and one has to wonder if Riddle is going to have some hell to pay for spoiling the "surprise."

Either way, don't expect Riddle to get added to the match despite his desire to be included.
