Mick Foley will step back inside Hell In A Cell this Sunday, this time as a referee for the Univeral Title match.

Last week on Raw, Shawn Michaels came to the ring and discussed the upcoming WWE Super Show-Down match between Triple H and The Undertaker. It was rumored that HBK would announce himself as the special guest referee for the bout. Instead, Mr. WrestleMania wound up having a face-to-face with The Deadman that now has people speculating Michaels is about to come out of retirement.

It was probably safe to assume that wasn't going to be the end product with Mick Foley on this week's Raw. Even if the WWE Hall Of Famer did want to come back for one more match, WWE probably wouldn't let him and the fans would not want to see it. No offense to Foley, but he has already given more than enough to the WWE Universe.

Foley did appear on Raw this week, though, interrupting an Elias performance late into the show. The Drifter revealed that he was in the crowd in Pittsburgh when Foley was thrown off the top of the cell at King Of The Ring in 1998. Once the former WWE Champion had the floor, he revealed that he had spoken to Stephanie McMahon about being a part of this Sunday's Hell In A Cell PPV.

Despite the broken relationship between himself and Raw's commissioner, Foley will be at HIAC on Sunday and has been given a very important role. Mrs. Foley's Baby Boy will be stepping back inside the structure that caused him so much pain 20 years ago, this time as a special guest referee. As Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns attempt to tear each other apart inside the demonic structure, it will be Foley's job to oversee the action.

Before the end of the night, The Monster Among Men sent a warning to the man who will officiate his match this Sunday. If he gets in the way, Strowman threatened that he will make the injuries Foley suffered at the hands of The Undertaker look like a papercut. Let's hope that Foley doesn't need to step in at Hell In A Cell because things are almost guaranteed to get barbaric considering the two competitors in the match.
