Mick Foley believes that wrestlers such as Chyna and Vader not being in the WWE Hall Of Fame reflects poorly on the selection process for it.

There are a few pinnacles in professional wrestling that can be viewed as the very top of a performer's career. In all fairness, it likely differs from person to person. For some wrestlers the ultimate goal is becoming a World Champion or even WWE Champion, for others, it's competing in the main event at WrestleMania. Many stars likely believe that it is making it into the WWE Hall Of Fame.

Stone Cold Steve Austin, Bret Hart, Ric Flair, they are all some of the best wrestlers in the history of the business and they have all been inducted into the Hall Of Fame. Every year they are joined by a handful of new inductees. This year that class included the likes of Goldberg, Ivory, and The Dudley Boyz. In some ways though, WWE's Hall Of Fame is a very controversial topic.

There are people in the HOF that some fans believe don't deserve to be there, and others who haven't yet been inducted that definitely do. Mick Foley recently spoke up about that subject on The Wade Keller Pro Wrestling Podcast. "If Vader's not in the Hall Of Fame, and Chyna's not in the Hall Of Fame, but Johnny Rodz is...clearly there's a problem with the admission policy," Foley explained to Keller.

Both the former WWE Superstars who Foley brought up that are yet to be inducted have been a hot topic of conversation recently. Triple H has stated since Chyna's passing that they are wary of inducting her because of younger fans searching for her online and stumbling across her adult film career. Meanwhile, fans are lobbying for Vader to be inducted while he's still with us. The former WCW Champion is fighting through severe heart problems at the moment.

As Foley also explained during the above podcast appearance, ultimately the decision is up to Vince McMahon, and it depends how he feels about the people in question on the day that he makes his mind up. Foley also doesn't like that many former stars base their worth on whether they make it into the Hall Of Fame or not. However, it's hard not to be offended when those less deserving than yourself beat you to it, even if it is based on the opinion of one man.
