Veteran heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson is now part of The Inner Circle after being inducted as an "ancillary member" by Chris Jericho on Wednesday's episode of AEW Dynamite. Tyson, who returned to the promotion last week, has apparently had a change of heart where Jericho is concerned.

The former AEW World Champion made the shocking announcement after beating Dax Harwood in an impressive showdown in which Tyson served as the Special Enforcer. The boxing legend was tasked with making sure there was no foul play but had his hands full with both The Inner Circle and The Pinnacle.

Harwood's tag partner Cash Wheeler would end up falling victim to a vicious punch from Tyson and Jericho would hit Harwood with a Judas Effect to secure the win.

MJF tried recruiting Tyson for his own stable but that ended up failing wildly -  as it turns out, Tyson doesn't dislike Jericho that much after all.

It appears that the boxer will be around a lot more moving forward, though it will be interesting to see how AEW goes about booking him.

“He made a huge impact last year at Double or Nothing, and we’re at a point where we can bring him back in front of our fans," AEW president Tony Khan told Sports Illustrated in an interview last week. "The fans who have come to the shows in Jacksonville have added so much to AEW, and it’s important for me that our fans get to see him live. We’re excited to have Mike back."

A Potential Blood and Guts Appearance

Fans would hope Tyson has some part to play in The Inner Circle's upcoming match against The Pinnacle but we will just have to wait and see what happens on that front.

The two factions will clash in a Blood and Guts match on the May 5th episode of Dynamite and, while it would be great to see the 54-year-old involved, it seems unlikely that he would participate in such a match.

It's also quite likely that, at some point, Iron Mike turns on Jericho to fashion a return to building up the match that was supposed to have taken place at All Out last year.
