With Daniel Bryan returning to the ring and The Miz being moved to the SmackDown Live brand in the Superstar Shake-Up, the pieces fell in order for this long overdue dream match between the two talents to happen.

WWE fans will not have to wait long, as Bryan and Miz will square off in a handful of matches during next month's European tour:

The first match between these two will happen in Liverpool on May 16th, followed by bouts in Newcastle and Sheffield on the 17th and 18th, respectively. And with that, fans in the UK will easily be getting their money's worth.

Many will recall the epic promo before Bryan and The Miz on Aug. 23, 2016. Just a couple of months into Bryan's reign as GM of SmackDown, the former Intercontinental Champion took multiple shots at him. This included calling Bryan a "coward" while telling him to "go back to the bingo halls," with his "indie friends."

Bryan made his return to the ring at WrestleMania 34, where he and Shane McMahon defeated Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a tag team match - which ended their half-year long feud. With Bryan staying on the SmackDown Live brand and Owens and Zayn being moved over to Raw, the former GM will need a new feud - and The Miz seems like a perfect candidate.

With his brash microphone skills, The Miz has been one of the top heels in WWE for a decade, while Bryan is easily among the top babyfaces in recent memory. Both men have displayed good working chemistry on-screen, so the idea of these two beginning a feud on SmackDown makes perfect sense.

Now, the only question is whether or not Miz and Bryan are only feuding during the European tour, or if this rivalry will also happen on television.
