It was announced to open Tuesday's episode of SmackDown Live, The Miz will face Daniel Bryan at Super Show-Down, with the winner becoming No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship.

As The Miz opened the program and welcome the WWE Universe to another edition of Miz TV, he started the show by breaking major news regarding WWE's upcoming show in Australia. He will face Daniel Bryan in a one-on-one match with the winner becoming the new No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship and the right to face either AJ Styles or Samoa Joe.

Whether or not this is the final meeting between these two is unclear, but to date, the winner becoming the No. 1 contender is by far the biggest stipulation to be awarded in any of their battles to date. So far, The Miz has gone up 2-0 in matches involving these two. Should he win one more time, he'll get the shot to move on and potentially become the WWE Champion.

For Bryan, should he win, it would signal the fact that he must have officially signed on with WWE again as this is the first real opportunity he's had to get back into the WWE Title picture — a scene WWE has chosen to keep Bryan away from since he had not officially signed his extension. If he wins, it will be because WWE knows he's sticking around.

Super Show-Down is shaping up to be a huge card for WWE. The company has already spent weeks promoting a match between the Undertaker and Triple H and this match, while one the WWE has already seen, may be one of the bigger bouts on the card.

Is the fact The Miz has won the last two matches a sign Bryan will finally get the win and move on to potentially become WWE Champion once again?
