When Mojo Rawley won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal tournament at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, some fans interpreted it as a sign that a big push was coming.

But here we are a year and a half later, and Rawley is still awaiting some form of a push that hasn't come yet. He hasn't been seen on television in months now, and Rawley looks poised to join a long list of great young talents that WWE is simply going to waste.

Appearing on Lilian Garcia's Chasing Glory podcast, Rawley explained his frustrations with the lack of TV time and not receiving much of a push.

"I’m in no-man’s land right now," Rawley said. "I wish I did know so I could fix the problem if there is one. The fact of the matter is there is a talented locker room. There’s a lot of guys fighting for an increasingly limited number of spots."

That being said, Rawley added that he checks social media in order to find folks "trash talking" him. Rawley said the it motivates him more and that he's going to "find a way to get back on TV."

There was plenty of hype around Rawley when he signed with NXT in 2012. He and Zack Ryder formed the ever-popular "Hype Bros" tag team, and they began receiving a big push on SmackDown Live.

Unfortunately, Ryder suffered a legitimate knee injury - which forced Rawley to work independently. Not long after Ryder's return, he and Rawley split up and had a short feud of their own. Neither of them have seen much TV time since.

What This Means

WWE fans have become accustomed to seeing many great young talents like Rawley get poorly used by means of terrible booking. The likes of Sami Zayn, Finn Balor, and Bayley can certainly relate to Rawley's situation.

Rawley sounds confident enough to eventually get back on TV and start earning a push, but as he noted, the locker room is filled with talent. When Vince McMahon gives up on a superstar, he almost never goes back to them.

Unless the creative team is hiding something tricky up their sleeves, Rawley seems poised for a disappointing tenure in WWE - one which might force him to leave in the near future.
