Money In The Bank has quickly become one of WWE's biggest PPVs, and rightly so. The matches in which Superstars can win the contract that the show is named after can have massive repercussions on the rest of the roster for up to a year. By the end of the night one man and one woman will have won the chance to go for a major title whenever they see fit. On top of that there are a litany of title matches and marquee bouts taking place in Chicago on Sunday night.

AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE Championship

via wwe.com

Shinsuke Nakamura shocked the wrestling world when he delivered that first low blow to AJ Styles at WrestleMania. Since then he has proved to be one of the best heels currently under WWE's employ. It has felt like he would finally become WWE Champion every single time these two have clashed over the past couple of months, but no such luck. At Money In The Bank Nakamura gets his shot in a Last Man Standing match. If he can keep The Phenomenal One down for a ten count then he will finally get that crowning moment.

Men's Money In The Bank Match

Eight men, four from each brand, will step into the ring for the men's MITB match on Sunday night, and for the most part, it is anyone's for the taking. Aside from who will be the eventual winner, the most intriguing thing about this match is which member of New Day will enter. They won their spot in the match but are yet to reveal which one of them will compete in the match. Sadly, whoever it is they will probably not be the one leaving with the briefcase.

RUMOR: BIG E WILL COMPETE FOR NEW DAY AT MONEY IN THE BANK

Women's Money In The Bank Match

The women's MITB match is just as hard to call as the men's. Plus it's the first time that women from both brands will compete in the match. If Charlotte Flair wins then she can get revenge on Carmella for cashing in on her earlier this year, an Alexa Bliss victory means she could get her own back on Nia Jax, or a Natalya win could begin an extremely interesting build between The Queen Of Hearts and Ronda Rousey who might be Raw Women's Champion by the end of the night.

Nia Jax vs Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women's Championship

Speaking of which, onto the match between Rousey and Jax. The Raw Women's Champion specifically requested that she defend her title against The Rowdy One, even though Rousey has never had a singles match in WWE. In fact, she has only had one match full stop, not including a couple of non-televised tag bouts. Rousey made the champ tap instantly on Monday when she demonstrated her armbar. If she locks that in on Sunday then it's game over for Jax.

Carmella vs Asuka for the SmackDown Women's Championship

via wwe.com

On the SmackDown side of things current Women's Champion Carmella finds herself with quite the challenge. Asuka may no longer be undefeated but that doesn't mean she isn't formidable. 'Mella is pretty confident though. By her reckoning, since she has beaten Charlotte Flair who in turn beat Asuka at WrestleMania, then that means she should have no problem defeating The Empress. That overconfidence could be her undoing at MITB.

Roman Reigns vs Jinder Mahal

via wwe.com

The long-running Roman Reigns experiment has brought us here, trying to get him cheered by putting him opposite Jinder Mahal. It didn't work when the rivalry started in London, and it isn't likely to work in Chicago on Sunday. WWE has plowed forward with it nonetheless and if they're smart, they'll get this match out of the way early. Knowing Vince McMahon though this match could very well wind up being the main event.

The Bludgeon Brothers vs Gallows & Anderson for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships

via wwe.com

The Superstar Shakeup changed a lot in WWE, but nothing was altered more than the tag division. SmackDown Live's tag team roster was already strong, now it is positively bursting with terrific duos. Those teams haven't been spotlighted though. hopefully, The Bludgeon Brothers and Gallows & Anderson can start to change that on Sunday night by putting on a match that exhibits why the wrestling world should be watching them and their fellow blue brand teams.

Bobby Lashley vs Sami Zayn

via wwe.com

The build to this one has been nothing short of baffling. The dynamic WWE has been trying to create between Bobby Lashley and Sami Zayn is still unclear, the segments between the two of them have been poor, and most fans likely can't wait for this rivalry to end. Hopefully, that end will come at MITB. A dominant Lashley win will mean he moves on to something and someone else, but if Zayn manages to sneak a win then you can, unfortunately, expect this feud to continue.

Seth Rollins vs Elias for the Intercontinental Championship

via wwe.com

Elias has more than proved that he can hold his own with anyone on the mic, but what about in the ring? This match with Seth Rollins will really be the litmus test for The Drifter. If he and The Architect put on a great match at MITB then the sky is the limit for Elias. What's more, winning the title will not only be great for the man that every fan wants to walk with, but it could also mark the beginning of Rollins' hunt for The Beast Incarnate.

Daniel Bryan vs Big Cass

via wwe.com

Most fans have their own list of dream matches that they can't wait to see Daniel Bryan have now that he has returned. He more than likely has his own. You probably won't find many with Big Cass's name on. No offense to the seven-footer, but most of us feel like there are bigger and better matches waiting for Bryan. The former World Champion will likely silence Cass once and for all at MITB and move on to one of those dream rivalries.
