Some wrestlers have been involved with the most infamous storylines. These storylines involve real life events, and the stage of wrestling is the perfect theatre for telling these types of stories. The sport of pro wrestling has pushed the envelope since its inception as it relates to some wrestlers. There have been all kinds of characters that have come along which have offended societal norms and beliefs. Wrestling just would not be wrestling without these types of characters.

One of the most infamous wrestlers, perhaps ever, has returned to the squared circle. Muhammad Hassan has been spotted wrestling for a promotion called The Dynasty, his first match in 13 years. Before wrestling for The Dynasty, Hassan was a feature WWE star used for the sole purpose of having a foreign heel create major amounts of heat for the WWE shortly after the September 11th tragedy which took place three years before Hassan made his WWE debut.

Hassan's return in the video was not met with boos as would be expected, but cheers. In the video he is involved in a match with Bin Hamin. Hassan seems to have gained a tad bit of weight, and he seems to have a little ring rust as well. One would expect him to have after being on a sabbatical for thirteen years.

The match is not displayed in its entirety. Hassan is on the defensive in most of the match, and Hamin seems to be more of a comedic heel than anything. Hamin is announced as standing 9 feet and 11 inches and weighs 911 pounds (this is clearly aimed at the events of September 11th used to garner heat). Hassan is still using his name that he used in the WWE, surprisingly, as most intellectual property is owned by the WWE when a wrestler leaves.

This Hamin vs Hassan match still uses the same foreign heel elements as most foreign heel wrestlers of the past such as Ivan Koloff, The Iron Sheik, and most recently used by Rusev. This match would have had more of an impact if an American face were pitted against Hamin or over Hassan having an pro-American gimmick would have worked. This match seemed a little off kilter pitting two Middle Eastern themed wrestlers against each other, especially with the reputation and controversy Hassan created in the WWE years ago.
