Recent reports are that multiple WWE talents have tested positive for COVID-19, but they aren't the only ones affected. AEW's Jon Moxley has been in contact with someone who had the disease and has been pulled from Dynamite as a precautionary measure.

Multiple people in WWE have tested positive for COVID-19, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet's Ryan Satin. He noted that the people who tested positive were at the Performance Center this week and among them are some in-ring talent.

Satin wasn't able to clarify when the positive tests were completed or how many of those tested positive are wrestlers but Satin notes that there were at least three positive test results. WWE plans on doing more testing and likely before they are scheduled to tape SmackDown this Friday.

This is big news considering that up until now, it was believed only one WWE Performance Center recruit had contracted the disease. And, that person had not been used on programming. The company still scrambled to get as many tests in and performers like Kevin Owens pulled himself from Raw and went home to be with his family.

AEW's Jon Moxley Pulled From Dynamite

As Florida sees record numbers of cases, clearly now having affected WWE, there is growing concern in AEW as well. President Tony Khan tweeted today that Jon Moxley has been pulled from tonight's Dynamite after coming in contact with someone who also tested positive.

He wrote:

Recently @JonMoxley had contact with someone who had contact with someone who has COVID-19. Mox did the right thing & warned us. Doc asked him to stay home & get tested to protect us here at our test site.

Jon Moxley can get slammed on a car, crawl through tacks & fall through the stage, but it’s every bit as cool that he came forward & told us he’d had secondhand exposure to COVID. We test everyone here at #AEWDynamite, but Jon protected everyone onsite like the great champ he is.

Tony Khan also noted earlier in the day that QT Marshall was pulled from tonight’s edition of Dynamite of the show after coming into contact with someone who had the disease. Marshall and Dustin Rhodes were supposed to face-off against FTR this evening. SCU will now be taking their place.

Needless to say, none of this is good news and we have to assume both shows and brands will be greatly affected.
