The WWE Performance Center is an innovative training facility, and it has helped the WWE build some of its top stars in NXT. They are building the future of the WWE, so when they hold tryouts, it’s definitely worth noting when some big names pop up. Unfortunately for those big indie wrestling fans out there, Marty Scurll, Matt Riddle and Will Ospreay are not there, but some notable ones did appear nonetheless.

PWInsider.com is reporting that during this week's tryouts, we will see an array of notable names turning up including Austin Theory, a top EVOLVE star, David Vireu, a former college wrestler and football star at Oregon and Matt van Buren, a former UFC and Bellator fighter. As we know, a tryout doesn’t automatically mean someone is signing a contract because one or both sides may not feel it’s the right fit. But when you’ve got some top independent stars, plus the legitimacy of someone from the UFC, it’s likely that there will be some mutual interest.
