The Golden State Warriors were already way too stacked before they signed Kevin Durant in 2016 - winning back-to-back championships with relative ease and destroying any parity the NBA was building towards.

As if things weren't already unfair enough, the Warriors then went out and signed All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins to a modest one-year deal worth $5.3 million. The Dubs will now start five superstars - including Durant and Stephen Curry - who both have MVP awards on their resumes.

With the signing of Cousins, other NBA players are quite ticked off - and rightfully so. Alex Kennedy of HoopsHype talked to an NBA player, who suggested that they simply cancel the upcoming 2018-19 season.

The Warriors won the NBA Championship in 2015, then followed it up with a record 73 wins in 2016. Though they lost in the Finals, Golden State went out and signed Durant - the best player in the world not named LeBron James.

As expected, the Warriors cruised to NBA Championships in 2017 and 2018 - losing just one playoff game in the former year. They were virtually unbeatable to begin with, but Cousins only makes this team that much better, and it's not crazy to believe the Warriors can break their own record of 73 wins next season.

There simply hasn't been any period in the NBA over the last four years, with the Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers appearing in the last four Finals. At this point, it'll take a miracle for somebody other than Golden State to win the 2019 NBA Championship.

A Four-Time All-Star who's averaged 21.5 points and 11 rebounds per game in his career, Cousins was supposed to be one of the richest free agent signings on this year's market, but that obviously didn't turn out to be the case.

Cousins will earn a clear path to the NBA Finals in 2019, then he may do the majority of the NBA world a favor by signing somewhere else next offseason.
