Two-time Cruiserweight Champion Neville hasn't been seen for seven months, as he walked out of the Oct. 10 episode of Monday Night Raw to protest his unhappiness with the promotion.

Rumors suggested that he had actually quit the WWE, but this was refuted immediately. Fans have since wondered what the future holds for the 5-foot-8 talent, but it truly seems like he's not coming back at this point.

According to a report from Brad Shepard of BodySlam.net, Neville has moved back to the U.K. and "said goodbye to his friends in the United States." He's been trying to keep it low-key, and another source told Shepard that his name hasn't been mentioned inside the WWE "for ages."

As of this moment, Neville is under contract with the WWE, and it doesn't sound like they've been willing to grant him a release yet. For what it's worth, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter did report in March that he was still in contact with WWE, and it was believed he'd be coming back in April.

But the latest indications are Neville has zero desire to come back to the WWE, and we can probably expect news of his release before long. The former NXT Champion and two-time NXT Tag Team Champion was one of the top up-and-coming talents in WWE, so it's obviously going to be tough for the promotion to replace one of their top Cruiserweights.

Neville was in the midst of a feud with former Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore, who was fired by the WWE in January following sexual assault allegations. WWE replaced Neville with Kalisto on the Oct. 10 episode of Raw.

It's unknown at this time if Neville is looking to explore opportunities in a different promotion, or if he's looking at a career change. We should learn more details in the near future.
