WWE's newest championship was unveiled on Saturday and it might very well be the best-looking title in the company right now.

Back in January of 2017, Triple H, with the help of many others at NXT and the Performance Center, put together a tournament featuring some of the United Kingdom's finest male wrestlers. The culmination of that tournament resulted in Tyler Bate becoming WWE's first ever UK Champion. Since then Pete Dunne has won the title and become one of the best-loved Superstars in NXT.

There were a number of reasons that WWE decided to put together such a tournament and create a brand new title. The main one appeared to be that the UK was about to get its very own WWE division and also a regular show. We had to wait a long time but that vision is finally coming to fruition. There is now a British division of NXT which is currently traveling the country filming episodes and matches.

This weekend, NXT UK is in Birmingham, and on night one another brand new championship was unveiled. The NXT UK Women's Championship. WWE posted a picture of the title for the rest of the WWE Universe who wasn't in attendance in Birmingham to see, and it may very well be the best looking championship in WWE right now.

The championship looks very similar to the one currently in The Bruiserweight's possession, but with a white strap much like the women's titles on Raw and SmackDown Live. What we don't yet know is who will be its first holder. That will be decided tonight on night two of NXT UK's weekend in Birmingham. The likes of Toni Storm, Dakota Kai, and the UK's own Isla Dawn have all been revealed to be in the running to be the first NXT UK Women's Champion along with a few others.

Although there is NXT UK action happening this weekend, and it isn't the first to take place, those of us who couldn't make it to the landmark events won't be able to see the action quite yet. There are other tapings scheduled elsewhere in the UK over the coming couple of months, and after they're all done we will presumably see a few debut episode of NXT's newest division on the WWE Network.
