On Monday's Raw, new WWE Women's tag team champions were crowned in a Fatal Four Way Match in which The Iiconics lost their titles.

In the final hour of Raw on Monday, there was a huge women's tag team match for the Women's Tag Team Championships set. The teams included featured the defending champs, The Iiconics versus The Kabuki Warriors, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville and Alexa Bliss with Nikki Cross. An elimination match, the titleholders were shockingly the first to be eliminated.

Guaranteeing new champions would be crowned, it was down to three teams.

As Raw came back from the commercial break, Mandy Rose eventually tapped out to the Kabuki Warriors leaving two. In the end, some excellent teamwork on the part of Bliss and Cross, a distraction or two and a finisher off the top rope, Bliss was able to pin Kairi Sane to crown new champions.

What This Means

This was a somewhat surprising turn of events despite the fact the Iiconics weren't really defending champions. Rarely wrestling in matches for their titles, they were hanging onto the belts by a thin thread. On Monday, the numbers finally caught up to them.

Whether or not this means Bliss and Cross will go to SummerSlam and defend the belts in any way is still unclear. But, it should be interesting to watch and see what happens between these two as there has been a constant underlying tension that Bliss might double-cross Cross at any moment. Now the champs, it would be not only Cross losing someone she now calls a friend, but potentially her title as well.

The inevitable is likely coming in that there will be a breakup between Cross and Bliss. It's just a matter of when and not if.
