There are plenty of major storylines heading into Week 3 of the 2018 NFL season. Where can we start? The return of Philadelphia Eagles star quarterback Carson Wentz? The ongoing drama with the Pittsburgh Steelers? The fact nine teams remain undefeated?

It'll be another great week of football. Some teams are fighting to keep their playoff hopes alive by avoiding o-3 starts. Expect plenty of fireworks in what should be some memorable Week 3 games.

Here are five bold predictions for Week 3.

5. Carson Wentz Has 350 Yards, 3 Touchdowns In Return

Wentz is cleared to play after missing nine months of action, having torn his ACL in Week 14 of last season. The 25-year-old was in the midst of an MVP-caliber season a year ago before the injury.

Now, Wentz takes the field at home against the Indianapolis Colts, moving Super Bowl 52 MVP Nick Foles back to the bench. Though the Eagles will be without top wideouts Mike Wallace and Alshon Jeffery, expect a big week from Wentz nonetheless.

The Colts don't have the players to slow match up against the likes of Nelson Agholor or Zach Ertz, and Corey Clement can do a lot in the backfield. Wentz has just enough playmakers to get by.

Wentz's return to the field will be anything but rusty. He'll toss 350 yards and three touchdowns as Philly moves to 2-1.

4. Saquon Barkley Goes Off, Paces Giants To Victory

Via The Morning Call

Regarded as the greatest running back prospect in years by some scouts, Saquon Barkley hasn't flashed yet through his first two NFL games. He's accumulated just 29 carries for 134 yards, one touchdown and 16 catches for 102 yards.

But things will change this week, when Barkley and the winless Giants face a surprisingly frustrating Houston Texans team. The Giants have to stop putting the ball in Eli Manning's hands for a third consecutive week, so look for Barkley to carry the load this time.

Houston has allowed 111 rushing yards per game through the first two weeks, per ESPN.com. Barkley has it easier after being shut down by the Jacksonville Jaguars and Dallas Cowboys through the first two weeks.

Look for Barkley to finish with around 120 rushing yards and two touchdowns, while adding five to 10 receptions for 50 yards. Barkley will guide New York to its first win of the season, while Houston moves to 0-3.

3. Matt Patricia, Lions Shock The Patriots

Detroit Lions head coach Matt Patricia doesn't want to be reminded about the poor history of the Bill Belichick coaching tree. Anybody who leaves Belichick and Foxborough almost never gets by as a head coach.

Patricia was New England's defensive coordinator from 2012-17, and his defense guided the Pats to Super Bowl XLIX and LI championships. And judging by their Week 2 performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Patriots defense really misses Patricia.

The 0-2 Lions desperately need a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. Fortunately for Matthew Stafford and co., Patricia will know the Pats' defensive schemes and plays, having spent all those years in Foxborough.

New England also isn't getting much help from its receivers. The Lions have a defense that can disrupt Tom Brady and the passing game. Stafford will have a field day against the Patriots 'defense, and the Lions will pull off the 24-20 victory and keep the season alive. For a week, at least.

2. Steelers Put The Clamp On Fitz 'Magic'

Via Bleacher Report

The Steelers were lucky to escape Week 1 with a tie against the Cleveland Browns, then they laid an egg at home and lost 42-37 to Patrick Mahomes and the surging Kansas City Chiefs.

There's a lot of drama in Pittsburgh as running back Le'Veon Bell continues his holdout. Wide receiver Antonio Brown didn't show up for team meetings on Monday, leading more to believe the locker room in Pittsburgh is a toxic one.

That's too bad. The Steelers have no choice but to regroup quickly, however. They're visiting a red hot Tampa Bay team that's 2-0, thanks to consecutive 400-yard games from quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Pittsburgh is too good to be 0-2-1, and the Bucs' magic has to run out eventually. Ben Roethlisberger and Brown will have a big game as the Steelers win a 34-31 thriller in Tampa, saving their season and ending the Fitzpatrick hype once and for all.

1. Seven Teams Will Remain Undefeated

Entering Week 3, seven teams are 2-0, while the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings remain technically undefeated at 1-01. There are nine teams without a loss entering Week 3.

Well, expect seven of them to keep the perfect season in tact. The Packers and Vikings should cruise by Washington and Buffalo, respectively. The Jacksonville Jaguars will take care of business at home against the Tennessee Titans, while the 2-0 Miami Dolphins will hand Jon Gruden and the Oakland Raiders their third straight loss.

Elsewhere, the Cincinnati Bengals will upset the Carolina Panthers on the road, while Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will roll past Jimmy Garoppolo's San Francisco 49ers. The Los Angeles Rams will get by an injury-ravaged LA Chargers team at home, too.

The only undefeated teams that won't win? The Denver Broncos will lose to a hard-hitting  and physical Baltimore Ravens team on the road, while the surprising Buccaneers will lose to Monday night to the desperate Steelers.

That means Green Bay and Minnesota will be 2-0-1, while the Jaguars, Dolphins, Bengals, Chiefs and Rams will move to 3-0. Thus, the perfect season will remain in tact through the first three weeks of 2018.
