The NFL has released its schedule for the 2018 season, and things will begin on Sept. 6 when the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles host the Atlanta Falcons in the kickoff game:

This year, the schedule rotation will see the AFC North play the NFC South, the AFC West against the NFC West, the AFC South against the NFC East and the AFC East against the NFC North Division.

There are plenty of can't-miss games on the schedule, and it includes just the second meeting between Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady, when the Green Bay Packers visit the New England Patriots in Week 9 on Sunday Night Football.

Other notable games include the Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars squaring off in a London game during Week 8. Speaking of the defending Super Bowl champions, their NFC Championship rematch happens against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5.

The Jacksonville Jaguars and Patriots won't need long to wait for their AFC Championship rematch, which will happen in Week 2. Speaking of the Patriots, they will also visit the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 15 for a second consecutive season, and who can forget their epic finish from last season?

The Seattle Seahawks will have some big tests on their rebuilt defense, as they visit the Denver Broncos in Week 1, before hosting the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3. Seattle will also play the Oakland Raiders in a London game in Week 6.

Unfortunately, there aren't many recent Super Bowl rematches to look forward to. The aforementioned Broncos-Seahawks meeting will be a rematch of Super Bowl 48, which Seattle won soundly. That's the only Super Bowl in the past 10 years that will see a rematch.

And if you're excited about your team playing on Sunday Night Football, do keep in mind the league can flex in different games. But for now, just enjoy the schedule and get ready for some football.
