Nia Jax has rubbished talk of a serious issue with R-Truth following their run-in at the Royal Rumble last month.
The WWE stars were said to have had some real-life beef after Jax ambushed Truth as he was making his entrance at No.30.
According to Jerry Lawler, the latter needed to be held back as he was genuinely angry at Nia for hurting his face and ankle. But the former Raw Women's Champion has posted some pretty convincing photos to counter the reports.
“And this [incident] got real heat for real," Lawler declared on his Dinner With The King podcast after the Rumble.
"She blasted poor R-Truth and knocked him face-first into that wall. He was hot, for real hot. They were having to hold him back there. She made it look good.”
Judging from Nia's photos, though, it doesn't appear that there was any "heat" between her and R-Truth at all. And the fact that he won the United States Championship two days later suggests he wasn't hurt that badly.
If there really was a botch and Nia went to check on Truth afterward, the pair ended up hugging it out and moving on. So whatever animosity between the two, if any at all, was quelled pretty quickly; plus R-Truth is obviously alright.
What This Means
So there's really nothing to see where the supposed beef between Nia and Truth is concerned. While the rumor was reported on here, it came from The King himself and he probably wasn't completely wrong as the possibly slightly injured party could have been ticked off in truth.
Jax does have a bit of a reputation for botches and hurting fellow performers. She caused an injury to Becky Lynch prior to Survivor Series last year so fans weren't very pleased after this recent R-Truth business.
Fortunately, she took some time to let us all know that it's all love between herself and the SmackDown star.
