On the day of his non-compete clause expiring with WWE, former talent No Way Jose has shared with fans a new look and name. Like others who were released from the company and have teased videos, many are wondering, what the future holds for the underutilized performer.

Now officially a free agent, No Way Jose will no longer be known by that name. Instead, he's changed his online profile and more to Levy Valenz, which is a shortened version of his real name Levis Valenzuela.

Velanz posted a video late Friday evening and stated: "I am essential, I pledge fidelity to the destruction of my former self. I am not my corporately mandated persona. I am not my material possessions."

You can see the video below:

The video follows the lead from another former WWE star, EC3, who has been posting videos since his release. Teasing he will control his narrative and make his own rules, Valenz can actually be seen watching an EC3 teaser. The idea is that he's motivated to make a similar change.

His chair then turns to hide his face and new hairstyle, until it's later revealed as part of his new look. It's certainly different from the party-like conga line leader WWE had him doing in NXT and WWE until he was let go.

Where Will Valnez Wind Up?

This weekend should be an interesting one for wrestling fans wondering where certain released stars will wind up. The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows) already confirmed they've signed with Impact Wrestling. There is an expectation a number of other stars will show up at tonight's Slammiversary PPV as well.

Is Valenz among them? Or, is this character change being done to get noticed? Those former WWE talents who have been active on social media seem to have garnered a lot of interest. Perhaps Valenz is trying to drum up sum intrigue.
