"Pressure makes diamonds." That's the quote WWE offered when they aired a teaser vignette during Tuesday's episode of NXT. It's not clear what the vignette was for, but fans immediately flocked to social media to try and figure it out.

Is it a faction? Some kind of event? Could it be a match-type that takes place inside an octagon or cage? Maybe it's a new tag team? There are so many possibilities based on the video that aired, it's anyone's guess.

You can see the video below, but the promo displayed several phrases: “Thrive. Achieve. Succeed”; “Push Beyond.”; “Pressure Makes Diamonds.”; “Pressure Is Pleasure.”; “Train. Perform. Become.”; “Fight. Win. Repeat.”

Some fans believe this is the debut video for a new style of match or show that will take on more of an MMA feel. Others thing this could be a stable that will have an MMA background and their characters may come from the world of MMA. The video features both at least one male and what looks to also be a female. The logo looks more like something you'd see with a show like Tough Enough or Raw Underground versus it being a wrestler or team.

It's almost like a class full of students training.

Wrestling Inc. points out:

"It’s interesting to note that the vignette shows athletes using bags with the Fusion X-Cel brand name on them. Fusion X-Cel is a fitness center based out of Ocoee, Florida, which teaches adult and kids MMA, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, fitness kickboxing, group fitness, and personal training. Ocoee is just about 20 minutes from Orlando, where the WWE Performance Center is located."

Interestingly, there's also a theory going around that this is the teaser video for Tessa Blanchard. Perhaps coincidentally, she started tweeting right after the vignette aired. There's no obvious connection to the video but the timing is odd.

Of course, Blanchard is known for having a diamond per out of her marketing, both on her outfits and her entrance videos.

People Are Intrigued

Whatever this is, it's gotten fans talking and that was the point. WWE likely left this very vague on purpose so as to keep the element of surprise very much alive. The question will be if the reveal is as good as the tease.
