Some fans are wondering how much more a talent like Adam Cole can do on the NXT brand. He's been a key superstar on that roster, highlighted by a 403-day reign as the brand's champion. At some point, it feels like a call up to Raw or SmackDown will be inevitable.

Cole was asked for his thoughts on one day leaving NXT and making the transition. While speaking during an interview with Talk Sport, he said he's excited about the idea, but he's got a lot of things left to do on the black and gold brand.

“Right now, the possibilities of things to do on any of the three brands feels endless for me. It just feels exciting across the board," he said. On the idea of staying in NXT, he noted, "I’ve been with the brand for such a longtime and I’ve seen it grow so much that it’s really fun to be a part of that process."

There are a few things on Cole's radar still. He would love to win the NXT Title again and he seems to have a beef with Samoa Joe. He'd like to see that situation play itself out before he ever goes anywhere else. “So it’s exciting," he said. He added, "By no means am I biding my time or saying ‘OK, I’m just waiting any day now’ to go to Raw or SmackDown. I do not feel that way at all."

He Is Going One Day Though

Cole did make sure to add that he's also looking forward to being on one of the Raw or SmackDown brands when that time comes. "And that’s not saying I don’t want to go; of course the idea of getting to go up there and compete on those brands is very exciting to me," he noted.

WWE will be hosting the next Draft after SummerSlam and there's a good chance some NXT wrestlers could get the call at that time, Cole among them. WWE has already showcased Karrion Kross, Bronson Reed, Scarlett, and Shotzi Blackheart on the main brand under shows. Maybe, as far as Cole is concerned, they already know what he can do.

For now, Cole doesn't seem ready to go anywhere. “I’m so proud of what our brand brings to the table. I love the roster. I love the crew. I love the show we bring week-to-week. I definitely am proud to be in NXT.”
