This week on SmackDown Live, Paige let the WWE Universe in on a secret. She'll be debuting a new women's tag team next week to the WWE during the Superstar Shake-up.

The segment started as the newly crowned Women's Tag Team Champions made their way to the ring and decided for their first-ever title defense, they would take on the best women's tag team in Brooklyn. Touting that their opponents had a record of 45-0, the Iiconics easily defeated the Brooklyn Belles to retain their championships. While they danced around the ring and bragged at their victory, WWE cut to a backstage interview between Kayla and Paige who had been watching the matchup backstage on a live monitor.

Whey Kayla asked why Paige was in attendance at SmackDown, the former Women's Champion responded that next week being the Superstar Shake-up, there are always surprises and she would be bringing her own surprise to the show.  She was there to get a close look at the newest Women's Tag Team Champions and, more importantly, Paige wanted to let everyone in on a little surprise... she'd be bringing her own tag team next week.

Of course, the Superstar Shake-up episodes are full of shocking moments. But, Paige's announcement guarantees there will be at least one debut or return. Will Paige be bringing in a duo everyone knows? Or, will she do what she's done in the past and debuted some female talent from NXT like she did when she brought Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose to WWE's main roster?

What This Means

WWE will likely give no indication as to who Paige is thinking about, but if we had to make a prediction, we might be seeing Iro Shirai and Khairi Sane make their debut on the main roster.
