Paul Heyman is back to doing what he does best: Call out the opponents of his clients.

His new client, Roman Reigns, defeated "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman in a No Holds Barred triple threat at Payback to become the new Universal Champion.

After a five-month hiatus, Reigns attacked both The Fiend and Strowman following their Universal Championship match at SummerSlam. That marked the beginning of a long overdue heel turn for the Big Dog.

Five days after SummerSlam, Reigns revealed that he was now working with Heyman - the longtime advocate of Brock Lesnar - at the end of SmackDown Live. Heyman accompanied Reigns to the ring at Payback, and the rest is history.

Reigns is enjoying his life atop the WWE mountain as both the Universal Champion and the No. 1 heel on the SmackDown Live roster. While Reigns focuses on the wrestling aspect, Heyman will take care of the trash talk for his opponents.

On WWE's The Bump (h/t Kartik Arry of Sportskeeda), Heyman took shots at both The Fiend and Strowman.

Here's what Heyman said about Wyatt:

"Take a look at what's happened to the championship that Roman Reigns established as the pre-eminent title in WWE. A Fiend? Come on. A Fiend? If a Fiend moves next door to you would you be celebrating with your family? 'Oh, there's a Fiend that moved next door. Oh, the neighborhood is so wonderful now. Oh, we have a Fiend next door'. No, you would lock your doors, you would bolt your windows, you'd put a gate up."

And if Strowman were to move into a neighborhood? Heyman simply said "You'd be selling your property the next day."

For starters, it doesn't look like the Reigns-Strowman feud will continue. The latter has been featured on Monday Night Raw, competing in Shane McMahon's "Raw Underground."

Reigns is set to defend his Universal title against Jey Uso at this Sunday's Clash of Champions pay-per-view. However, it's widely believed that Reigns will eventually clash with The Fiend again. The initial plan was for them to face off at WrestleMania 36, after all.

Heyman & Reigns Have Been The Perfect Duo

Reigns' heel turn promises to be a great success, thanks in large part to his partnership with Heyman. The latter has a phenomenal track record in developing heels (see Lesnar, Shayna Baszler, etc.). Reigns' wrestling persona is more suited as a heel anywawy, and with Heyman at his side, he's in excellent position to flourish long-term.
