The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New England Patriots to win Super Bowl LII.

It was almost all offense, it was one huge defensive play, it was controversial referee reviews and it resembled a dramatic college game full of trick plays and risk-taking. All said it was easily one of the most amazing Super Bowl games in history and a big congratulations go out to the Philadelphia Eagles who became NFL Champions, winning their first-ever Super Bowl and helped make Super Bowl LII one of the more entertaining football games in recent memory.

Regardless of which side you might have been cheering for, the entire game was an impressive display of offense by both teams and in the end, one team simply outscored the other in a flurry of touchdowns, risky plays and hundreds of yards thrown by both quarterbacks.

Both Tom Brady and Nick Foles were on fire and despite questions of how he'd keep his composure and handle the pressure of being in such a huge game against the NFL's best quarterback, Nick Foles was fantastic, leading the Eagles to a victory. Not only did he quiet any doubters, he'll go down as the first quarterback in history to catch and throw a touchdown pass in a Super Bowl. Not to be outdone, Brady set records of his own being the only Super Bowl quarterback with over 400 yards.

In a back and forth game that went down to the wire, Brady and the New England Patriots simply didn't have an answer for the Eagles ability to keep scoring, and some missed plays by the Patriots where the Eagles gambled and completed plays of their own was the difference. When all was said and done, the game could have gone either way but Eagles' fans are rejoicing as the Lombardi Trophy will be making its way to Broad Street, Philadelphia.

The game started with a Jake Elliott 25-yard field goal to make it 3-0 Eagles only to have Stephen Gostkowski kick a 26-yard field goal of his own to tie the game at 3-3. After that, the game opened up starting with a Foles 34-yard pass to Alshon Jeffery and a LeGarrette Blount 21-yard run to make it 15-3 Eagles.

The Patriots came back to get within three points, and after one of the gutsiest plays in Super Bowl history, the Eagles had the lead back up to ten points. This risky play that paid off might have been the reason the Eagles found the strength to ward off any comeback.

Coming out of the half, Brady ended a Patriots run with a 5-yard touchdown pass to Rob Gronkowski and Foles came back with a 22-yard pass to Corey Clement to keep the lead at ten points. Brady responded with a 26-yard pass to Chris Hogan.

Elliott kicked a 42-yard field goal to make it 32-26 for the Eagles but Brady and Gronkowski struck again with a 4-yard pass and a converted extra point to make it 33-32 for the Patriots.

The final offensive play which saw Foles throw an 11-yard pass to Zach Ertz, who was then ruled a runner, and crossed into the end zone capped off the game. It was a play that almost didn't count and a ruling that could have been argued either way as Ertz dove, touched the ground with the ball and almost lost control. A final field goal made it 41-33.
