R-Truth is apparently very angry with Nia Jax after having his Royal Rumble entrance ruined by the female star last Sunday.
The SmackDown star was due to enter the men's Royal Rumble at No.30 after winning the Mixed Match Challenge with Carmella but was assaulted by Nia on his way to the ring.
Nia entered the Rumble in Truth's stead, becoming the first woman to take part in the contest since 2010, even going on to eliminate Mustafa Ali. However, she would suffer a Superkick, courtesy of Dolph Ziggler, a 619 from Rey Mysterio and an RKO from Randy Orton after trying to get Mysterio out of the ring too.

As it turns out, her ambush left Truth worse for wear as he reportedly suffered injuries to his face and ankle. According to Rajah.com, Jax's assault was a bit over the top and genuinely hurt him, leading to some heat between the two.
The WWE spun it into a backstage incident, posting a video of R-Truth looking for Nia following the incident. And Jerry Lawler has since corroborated Raja's report, claiming that the performer had to be held back.
“And this [incident] got real heat for real, he said on his Dinner With The King podcast (h/t sescoops.com). "She blasted poor R-Truth and knocked him face-first into that wall. He was hot, for real hot. They were having to hold him back there. She made it look good.”
Raja adds that backstage agent and former D-Generation X member Road Dogg had to step in as R-Truth was looking to have a genuine confrontation with Nia.
What This Means
R-Truth has every right to be angry with Nia for hurting him but he should also know that these things come with the territory and there's always a possibility of getting hurt.
The WWE probably had him win the United States Championship on the following SmackDown to make up for his trouble yet that could have already been decided prior to the Royal Rumble.
