We have officially reached a period where there isn't a WWE PPV or big show basically every weekend. On the one hand, it comes as quite a relief. One PPV, TLC, to build to and nothing else to worry about. On the other hand, we're reminded how difficult a task it is to fill three hours of Raw without a litany of big shows to fuel Monday night storylines. It can be done, though. Here are all the biggest moments from this week's Raw, we'll let you decide whether it was worth watching or not.

Last week, Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, and Drew McIntyre laid waste to Braun Strowman. This week, it was the turn of Elias. After revealing Strowman was in Birmingham, Alabama being prepped for surgery, the acting GM and his lackeys were interrupted by The Drifter. Elias then found himself in a match against Lashley with Corbin and McIntyre at ringside. Just as Elias looked as if he might win, Corbin grabbed a mic and declared the match no disqualification. That's when he and McIntyre stepped in and went about replicating what they did to Strowman. At least this time the match actually came to an end, although Elias could barely move by that point.

Speaking of Superstars sidelining other wrestlers, we had to endure another dose of Nia Jax bragging about breaking Becky Lynch's face. If you saw this segment, you'll know it was pretty terribly put together. Ronda Rousey eventually came to the ring to shut Jax up, even challenging her to a title match there and then. That didn't happen. Instead, Natalya came running to the ring just as Tamina and Jax were about to team up and take out the champ. Except Nattie was stopped short when The Riott Squad appeared out of nowhere. Rousey then came to Nattie's aid instead, easily dispatching all three members of The Squad. The whole thing was a bit of a mess with all participants stumbling over one another.

The Raw tag division isn't exactly the hottest thing in the business right now. That being said, at least the titles are currently on the most dominant team on the show, Authors Of Pain. Well, that was until they lost to Bobby Roode and Chad Gable last week. That earned the surprise victors a title match on this week's Raw. AOP's manager, Drake Maverick was going to take no chances. He also saw the chance to turn all of the pee jokes on their head. Maverick stole Roode's robe mid-match and took it backstage with him. The 205 Live GM was then shown shoving the robe into a toilet and peeing on it. Roode, naturally being pretty distracted, was then brought back down to Earth and reminded he was in a match as AOP defeated him and Gable to retain their titles.

It was revealed earlier in the evening, via a segment which was a little weird, that Dean Ambrose was not in the building. That meant Seth Rollins could stage an open challenge for his Intercontinental Title without having to worry about distractions. Dolph Ziggler, a man who knows all about the IC Title, answered that challenge. The Showoff seems to have detached himself from McIntyre for now and showcased exactly how good he is alone on Raw. Ziggler may not have won the IC Title for the seventh time, but he came extremely close. As it stands, the match at TLC between Rollins and Ambrose will still be for The Architect's gold.

Raw ended in much the same way as it began. The main event was Baron Corbin versus Finn Balor. A match we have seen numerous times before, but no matter. Since Corbin and his new buddies had already taken care of Strowman and Elias, you had to imagine Balor was next. In keeping with the theme, the Irishman got the better of the acting GM, so the latter felt the need to invoke a rule change. Corbin announced that the match was now a handicap affair, and McIntyre came to help out. A devastating Claymore Kick later, and the match was over. That didn't stop Lashley joining his comrades and adding insult to injury. Fingers crossed this isn't the theme all the way up until TLC.
