During one 24 hour period last week, Raw changed an awful lot. Not only did the red brand crown new Universal, Intercontinental, and Women's Champions at SummerSlam but the very next night, The Shield reformed. As entertaining as all of that was, with anything in WWE, it's all just a part of setting the next big stage and possibly even the one after that. The next big stages for WWE's Superstars are Hell In A Cell and the first-ever all women's PPV, Evolution, and you can guarantee that both of those shows became a little clearer this past Monday night.

As touched upon above, last week's Raw closed out with a massive reunion. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins came to the ring to aid their fellow Hound Of Justice, Roman Reigns. The lasting image on fans' minds for the past seven days? Braun Strowman being triple powerbombed through the announce table. As promised on social media since then, Reigns met Strowman in the ring at the top of the show on Monday night and the two of them came to an agreement. The Monster Among Men won't cash his contract in until the pair of them can battle inside Hell In A Cell on September 16 2018, that way the rest of The Shield can't interfere in their business.

Once Strowman and Reigns made their deal, acting General Manager Baron Corbin booked them in Raw's main event as a team versus Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre. Not only did that make for a massive main event, but it also seems that Rollins has finally shaken off Dolph and Drew. With that, The Architect went looking for a new opponent by putting his Intercontinental Title on the line in an open challenge. Kevin Owens answered and as you can imagine, it was a pretty awesome match. Rollins won what was a close encounter and even though KO came oh so close to winning gold, it would seem he has been pushed too far. After the match, he sat quietly in the ring before informing the WWE Universe that he quits and taking his leave.

When Elias comes to the ring you can be certain of a couple of things. That he'll have his guitar with him and that he'll insult whatever town he's in. Well, maybe in the future The Drifter will check who's backstage before doing so from now on. Raw rolled through Toronto on Monday night and midway through Elias's rant about how he hates the town, Trish Stratus made a surprise appearance. The two of them went at it in a war of words right in the middle of the ring to a raucous Canadian crowd, but as soon as Ronda Rousey and Natalya came to join the party Elias quickly made his escape.

Rousey and Nattie were on their way to the ring for the latter's match against Alicia Fox, and when The Foxy One brought Alexa Bliss and Stratus's old nemesis Mickie James out with her, it made for a pretty crowded ringside area for Natalya's first match since her father passed away. Unfortunately, Stratus and James didn't clash and there wasn't too much action at ringside. It didn't take long for Nattie to dispatch of Fox in the ring though, forcing her to tap to the sharpshooter. Plus an added bonus after the match, Nattie, Rousey, and Stratus bumped into The Bellas backstage who revealed that they will be returning to in-ring action next week on Raw.

As mentioned earlier, the main event on Monday's Raw forced Hell In A Cell opponents Reigns and Strowman to team up and take on Ziggler and McIntyre. The majority of the match revolved around the Universal Champion desperately trying to tag his Monster tag team partner but not quite being able to make it. Then once Reigns did get the tag, Strowman didn't help. Instead, he watched on as his opponents beat down his partner to the point of disqualification. Only then did the Monster In The Bank enter the ring and joined in on the beat down. Ambrose came to help, as did Rollins shortly after, but both men suffered the same fate as their fellow Hound Of Justice. Turns out Strowman hadn't forgotten about the punishment he suffered at the hands of The Shield last week, and he made a couple of friends of his own so that he could exact his revenge.
