Monday's Raw was a perfect example of how an idea might seem good on paper, but in reality, has a lot less impact and doesn't quite fly with the crowd. A series of poorly constructed segments overshadowed a couple strong matches and the program felt like it lacked star power, direction, and finish.

A show meant to set the table of TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs did accomplish to goal of finalizing some matches and creating a card but that also meant too much time was spent on a couple of the key players. It doesn't help that one of those key players is not star quality.

Here are your winners and losers for Raw, November 26, 2018.

Loser: Baron Corbin

Monday's show started with Baron Corbin and ended with Baron Corbin and if Corbin was entertaining or could draw in an audience, that would be ok. The problem is, he's not and these segments felt long and overdone.

There's perhaps something to this trio of Corbin, Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre that suggests they could be a strong stable but the reality is they won't stay together over the long haul so whatever they do right now is simply a filler until the match at TLC comes and goes.

Winner: Elias

Sometimes, the bigger the beat-down you receive, the more of a star you become.

It appears in the absence of some big-name stars, Elias is going to catch some good fortune. He wasn't on the winning end of the beating on Monday but that he's being treated like the company's top babyface while Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns are out meant the company sees him as next in line.

Winner: Lucha House Party

The rules are silly and make no sense, The Revival's reputation is being trashed at the expense of a trio that will likely never go anywhere in the long-term but at least WWE is trying something creative with Lucha House Party.  The Lucha House Rules make their matches exciting to watch and fast-paced and there should be no reason The Revival wins in this environment so giving them the victories makes sense.

It will be interesting to see if the company continues to keep this a 3-on-2 feud or if The Revival comes back with a third member. After all, the rules should apply both ways. The old-school tag styles with the high-flying chaos clash in such a way that it's kind of fun to watch.

Loser: Nia Jax

No disrespect to how quickly Rousey has improved on the mic, but when you have to be saved by Rousey because your promo is bombing, you know you've done something wrong. Nia Jax's segment was awful.

Maybe it doesn't help that Jax has flip-flopped in her character so much she's becoming the Big Show of the female division but she should be coming out, making quick and to-the-point comments about how she broke Becky Lynch's face and things should move along. Instead, the company gave her minutes which felt like hours. Not a good idea.

Loser: The Open Forum

via wwe.com

The only segment worse than Jax's was the open forum segment with Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, and Bayley. This was a trainwreck from start to finish and you have to wonder how the bookers or writing team thought this would go when they were jotting down ideas on paper.

From Bliss' insulting poorly timed jokes to insult the crowd to the one question she took from the audience to the poor mic usage to catch the responses, it was all only out-stunk by the run-in from the allies of Bliss.

Loser: AOP vs. Roode and Gable

via wwe.com

I'm sorry, was there even a match here? I was too distracted by the little man running around and peeing on the Glorious one's robe. Maybe that was the point but that could have all been done in a backstage segment if that was meant to the be highlight of the segment.

Loser: Main Event

via wwe.com

This match was fine but we've seen it before. In fact, we've seen it often and every time it wasn't worthy of a main event spot on the show. That goes to show how much Raw was missing some of its big names.

The finish was also over-written. It's all when a good to have Corbin, Lashley and McIntyre standing tall in the ring to end the show and demonstrate strength but how the program got there was poorly constructed.
