It's been reported that most WWE superstars aren't yet aware of what they'll be doing at WrestleMania 37. WWE boss Vince McMahon is said to be keeping a tight lid on plans for the upcoming event.

WrestlingNews.co has since revealed being told by a source that this is the case because McMahon is angry over the many leaks that have surfaced online.

“Yes, the story is accurate," the source was quoted as saying. "Vince was upset when word got out that the main event [for WrestleMania] would be Edge and Roman. I think that was the moment when he decided to not clue in the wrestlers on future plans.”

McMahon was said to be upset about the promotion's plans for Bad Bunny and Damian Priest vs. John Morrison and The Miz leaking as it's given away plans to have Miz drop the WWE Championship soon.

Per reports, writers and producers need to get permission from either Vince McMahon or Bruce Prichard to share creative intent with superstars. It's understood that this has put many wrestlers on edge and impacted the locker room atmosphere.

News on Edge's intention to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship got out through Dave Meltzer before the Rated-R Superstar actually announced it at Elimination Chamber. Meltzer's Wrestling Observer Newsletter is also responsible for reporting on the Bad Bunny and Damian Priest bit.

Booker T's Angry Too

Booker T recently slammed wrestling outlets for leaking information on upcoming storylines.

“I appreciate Miz doing his thing,” he said on his Hall of Fame podcast (H/T Wrestling Inc.). “Miz is the champ again, in a great position. What I hate more than anything, there again are these dirt sheets, they ruin it for me, there’s always a spoiler out there or something.

"I was reading today in the dirt sheet that Miz has got the title and he’s going to lose it before WrestleMania 37 to such and such. This is just done because… That story right there, if that happens, it totally killed everything that they built up for the Miz to actually do just last night.”

Should the publications be the ones to blame, though? The stories have to come from somewhere...
