The story of Broken Matt Hardy and the legal battle with Impact wrestling has been one of the most prominent stories in wrestling over the past year, but the Hardys and WWE have finally acquired the rights to use the name and gimmick. As such, we are finally getting WWE’s version of The Final Deletion, known as The Ultimate Deletion this Monday on RAW, but there is one big elephant in the room, and that’s Jeff Hardy. His actions over the past few days have clouded his return to WWE, and from all reports, he has been ‘deleted’ from all footage in the Ultimate Deletion. But according to Queen Rebecca, Jeff isn’t needed for their story.

During an Instagram post, Reby Hardy replied to a commenter and had this to say about Jeff; “Matt has busted his ass to get to this point. He and I have been fighting for this to happen for nearly a year. After all the hard work and $50k in legal fees that we paid, I’m gonna have to say no. He is not needed, Jeff is doing his own thing and it has nothing to do with us.”

Obviously this was in relation to Jeff and his recent DWI arrest, and while it may seem harsh to publish something like this in the comments, she’s definitely right. Everything that has happened with the Broken character up until now has been Matt’s work, and if Jeff returns he really doesn’t need to be involved in this story. Obviously, the ‘Obsolete Mule’ Brother Nero was a huge part of Impact’s version of the story, but if WWE want him to do his own thing on SmackDown Live, that’s definitely understandable, and for now, Reby is 100 percent correct.

So what do you guys think? Will the Ultimate Deletion not be the same without the nefarious Brother Nero? Does it matter that much to the story? Do you like/dislike Reby airing her thoughts on Instagram? Let us know all your thoughts and ideas in the comment section below.
